5 Quick & Easy Hairstyles

I have been pushing myself to try new things lately so I set up a YouTube channel to accompany my blog. Here is my first video about 5 really quick and easy hairstyles, most can be catered for short or long hair. March Favourites

March is one of my favourite months of the year so with that in mind I thought I would do a March Favourites post.

1. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation.

I switched to this foundation this month after finding that the Rimmel Match  Perfection Foundation dried my skin out too much. This foundation is so good! It does exactly what it says and makes you seem more awake by illuminating your skin. So even if you have had little sleep you don't appear as tired. It has good coverage which is what I always look for in a foundation as I have dark circles under my eyes. Would definitely recommend this!

2. Dracula by Bram Stoker.

I got this book after it was recommended to me by a friend. I love to read and this book is such a classic Gothic tale. Although if vampires freak you out it's probably not for you.

3. Radox Feel Uplifted With Pink Grapefruit & Basil.

I love this shower gel! It smells so nice and makes my morning routine better.

4. Fat Hair Amplifying Mist.

I originally brought this because I wanted to add more volume to my hair. Not only does it help with volume it also contains avocado so it smells really nice and makes my hair really soft. I spray it into my hair before I blow dry it but it can also be applied to dry hair.

5. The Co-operative Fairtrade Tea Blend.

I suppose I follow the stereotype of a typical British person as I can't go a single day without at least one cup of tea. These tea bags are really nice and they are Fairtrade too which is always a positive.

6. Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in Blood Orange.

This is a beautiful deep red shade which is perfect for adding a little extra to an outfit. It dries quickly which is perfect for me as I am very impatient. It works well on its own but a basecoat will help it last longer.

The Liebster Award

For those who don't know what this award is (i didn't until i was nominated) it is an award for aspiring bloggers who have few followers with the aim of discovering new ones and helping them to gain more popularity.

1. What is your favourite colour? Why? Red because it makes me happy.

2. What do you expect from the future? I'm hoping that all of the conflict currently happening across the world will end.

4. If you were famous what would you do with your money? Give a large chunk to charity and buy a puppy cafe (kind of like a cat cafe but better because puppies are cooler)

5. Do you have a favourite blogger? Who is he/she? I love Zoella because she's always so cheerful.

6. What do you do in your free time? Blog, spend time with my boyfriend, watch loads of random stuff on Netflix and YouTube.

7. What is the craziest experience you've had in your life? And what is the craziest you would do right now? I went on a massive roller coaster in America when i was 16 which was a huge deal because i am terrified of heights. Despite being scared of heights i would love to skydive or do a bungee jump.

8. Where would you like to be right now? In Birmingham with my family.

9. What phone do you have? iPhone 5

10. What or who inspires you? My mom inspires me because she always stays strong no matter what and i really admire that about her.

1. What are you wearing? Marvel Pajamas.

2. Ever been in love? I am currently.

3. Ever had a terrible breakup? No, i think I've been quite lucky.

4. How tall are you? 5ft 11in I'm really really tall.

5. How much do you weigh? Enough, I'm happy and healthy.

6. Any tattoos? No not yet but i would like one.

7. Any piercings? Just my ear lobes, i used to have a helix piercing but it closed up.

Intense Smokey Black Eye Shadow

I had a bit of an experimental make-up day today and came up with this intense black eye shadow makeup look. It's quite grungy and Gothic but i love it and it goes great with a bold red lip.

First I did my usual foundation routine. I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in the shade Light Porcelain 010.

For Concealer I used the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in the shade Ivory 010.

I then went ahead and filled in my eyebrows with an eye shadow and applied a bit of blusher and powder.

For the eye shadow i used Bourjois Paris Intense Extrait 10, the shade is a very dark black which is perfect for this look.

I packed the eye shadow onto my lids and then blended it out with a fluffy brush to create a smokey look. I then applied a black eyeliner to my water line to add to the intensity of the look. (please ignore my chipped nail varnish)

I used my favorite mascara which is Rimmel 100% Waterproof Mascara in the shade 001 Black Black.

Finally to complete the look i used Rimmel Kate Matte lipstick in the shade 107 wine. (see my last post about my favorite Rimmel lipsticks here)

And here is the completed look!
